Formerly known as Rebecca Colefax Photography, we still offer the same genuine care, local knowledge and a shared belief that the best images happen when people feel completely at ease.

Founder & principal photographer

Rebecca Colefax has spent decades behind the camera, learning to notice what others might miss. She started in the days of film and darkrooms, where slowing down and truly ‘seeing’ was everything.

Today she combines that foundation with modern digital tools to create images full of light, laughter, and meaning. She loves storytelling, black and white photography, and finding the quiet in-between moments, the ones that make your story real and uniquely yours.

Rebecca’s commercial and magazine work has run alongside a life of adventure, including Australian and Women’s World Kiteboarding Champion. That same love of the ocean runs through everything she photographs today.

Rowena Walker brings years of experience and a rare gift for putting people instantly at ease.

Her work has taken her across continents, but her goal remains the same, helping clients feel so relaxed that authentic moments unfold naturally.

From guiding nervous couples to welcoming a family’s newest addition, Rowena creates a space where people can simply be themselves. She’s particularly beloved for her work with newborns and young children. Her images feel relaxed and true to life.

Rowena is a grandmother and our ultimate baby whisperer, bringing patience, calm, and care to everything she does.

The real us

Outside of photography, we’re both mums who know how quickly life moves and how precious the small moments are, the laughter, quiet gestures, and everyday chaos that make life rich. We know those memories only grow more meaningful with time.

We’ve worked together for decades and built a close friendship along the way. We share a love of good food, exploring new places, and somehow made it through the teenage years, with a healthy dose of memes to keep us sane!
