Honestly I was not sure about having maternity photos taken. I felt huge and uncomfortable and the idea of being in front of a camera felt like the last thing I wanted. We booked the combined package because we wanted to document the whole thing from bump to baby. What we did not anticipate was trying to wrangle a two year old, a brand new baby and two completely exhausted parents into something resembling a coherent session. It was not a problem. Not even slightly. The patience was extraordinary. Nobody rushed, nobody made us feel like the chaos was anything other than completely normal. For maternity, we recomend having photos taken between 28 and 34 weeks. The time and location is chosen based on you, the season, the light and what will make you feel and look your most beautiful. For newborns, the ideal window is within the first fourteen days. We recommend getting in touch during your pregnancy so everything is already arranged before your baby arrives. We can come to you, your home, hospital or wherever feels most comfortable and natural for your family in those precious early days.
