Noosa Photography Co ~ Noosa Wedding Photography Noosa Springs

For a Noosa wedding photography, Noosa Springs Golf and Spa Resort is a venue that delivers at every turn. Sue and Maree had loved each other for twenty three years. They met at an international softball match, built a life together, and waited for the law to catch up. In 2018 it finally did. And Noosa Springs was where they celebrated.

This was a wedding that had been a long time coming and every single person in that room knew it.

Getting Ready at Noosa Springs

The morning started quietly. Blush and cream bouquets resting on a cream velvet chair. Two people in separate rooms adjusting cufflinks and checking mirrors. The getting-ready shots at Noosa Springs have that particular kind of stillness that only happens when the people getting dressed have genuinely been waiting for this day for a very long time.

The Ceremony

Noosa Springs sits in the hills above Noosa Heads and the garden ceremony space is surrounded by lush subtropical greenery with the hinterland rolling out behind it. For Sue and Maree it was the right setting entirely. Relaxed, green, a little bit tucked away from the world.

At the signing table both of them were laughing. Not the polite smile of a posed moment but the real kind, the kind that comes from twenty three years of knowing someone completely and getting to make it official at last. The witnesses leaned in close. Nobody wanted to miss a second of it.

One guest photographing the bridal party on an iPad made the frame. It went in.

From the Garden to the Golf Buggy

After the ceremony Sue and Maree climbed into a Noosa Springs golf buggy dressed with white ribbon and drove off through the resort grounds. It is such a simple thing and it is completely perfect. Two brides, a golf buggy, and that particular look people get when they cannot quite believe the day is actually happening.

The Reception

The reception room at Noosa Springs was dressed in royal blue and white with fairy lights behind the sheer draping. The cake was a caramel drip with white roses and a Mrs and Mrs topper. When Sue and Maree walked in the room raised their glasses and the whole place went up.

What Sue and Maree Said

“She was so lovely, easy to work with, very professional and is all about getting the best shots for you. Everything was so natural. The photos are beautiful. We will most definitely recommend Noosa Photography Co. She was just perfect.”

Noosa Wedding Photographer Noosa Springs ~ Frequently Asked Questions

What is Noosa Springs like as a wedding venue? Noosa Springs Golf and Spa Resort is located about 7 minutes from Hastings Street and offers garden ceremony spaces surrounded by subtropical greenery, a dedicated reception room and the kind of resort setting that keeps everything in one relaxed location for the whole day.

Does Noosa Springs suit intimate weddings? Very much so. The garden spaces work beautifully for smaller gatherings where the focus is on the people rather than the production. Sue and Maree’s day had that feeling throughout and the photographs are all the better for it.

Can we do portraits around the Noosa Springs grounds? Yes. The resort grounds offer a variety of backdrops from the lush garden areas, to the golf course and lake side views. It is easy to move around the property between the ceremony and reception for couple portraits without leaving the venue.
