Noosa Photography Co ~ Noosa Wedding Photography Casuarina Gardens

Noosa Wedding Photography at Casuarina Gardens, just off Hastings Street, and right on the edge of Noosa Main Beach, is one of those venues that feels like it was designed for exactly this. A garden ceremony with the casuarinas and pandanus framing the space. Deckchairs lined up with floral cushions instead of rows of white chairs. Colour and personality built into every detail, right down to the bouquet which was made by Claire’s mother.
Dave and Claire married here with family who had travelled from around the world to be with them. They were also expecting their first baby in January, which made the whole day carry an extra layer of joy that you simply cannot manufacture.
When asked what marriage means to them, they said it is a way to celebrate their commitment to each other. Simple, honest and exactly right.

The Garden, the Boardwalk and the Noosa Dream
After the ceremony the couple walked the Noosa River boardwalk for portraits, Mount Coolum sitting on the horizon behind them and the whole river opening up to the left. Claire in her beaded Jenny Packham gown and Dave in a relaxed white shirt, completely at ease and completely happy.
Then came the boat.
The Noosa Dream is a vintage timber speedboat and it is an extraordinary thing on the Noosa River. The couple climbed in and the driver opened it up and the resulting image, both of them at the bow with the wake exploding behind them and their mouths wide open, is the kind of frame that stops people mid-scroll. It is pure joy and it cannot be staged.
The day finished on a sandbank at golden hour. Just the two of them, the white sand, the soft warm light and Claire’s red lips. Dave with his face buried in her hair and Claire laughing. That image does not need a caption.

What the client said
“Noosa Photography Co was very professional. We had been unable to meet prior to the wedding but as soon as we met on the day we were made to feel relaxed and very comfortable. A good mix of informal and formal moments was captured throughout the day. Creative with the settings and very focused and organised to get the most high quality images from the time available. We love the photos and they bring back many happy memories from our wedding day. We would absolutely recommend Noosa Photography Co to friends.”
