Little Cove sits just beyond Noosa Main Beach and the ceremony was held right on the sand with the ocean stretching out behind the arch. White dahlias, gypsophila and lush green foliage on a raw timber frame, the water flat and blue, pandanus palms framing the whole scene from above.
It is one of those setups that looks effortless and photographs beautifully from every angle. Guests seated on the sand, the couple at the water’s edge, the horizon behind them. Little Cove does not need much dressing up.
The Ceremony at Little Cove
Little Cove sits just beyond Noosa Main Beach and offers a ceremony setting that feels genuinely removed from the busy end of town. The timber arch was dressed simply with white dahlias, gypsophila and lush green foliage. Clean, fresh and completely suited to the location.
The bride arrived through the trees to the boardwalk and from that moment the afternoon had its own quiet momentum. The stone amphitheatre steps, the greenery closing in on both sides, the white tulle moving in the breeze. It is a setting that requires very little direction and gives a great deal back.
From Little Cove to the Noosa Boathouse
After the ceremony the couple made their way to the Noosa Ferry for the river transfer to the Noosa Boathouse for their reception. The river at that hour was gold and still, pelicans sitting on the water, the sky going pink and soft above the tree line. The portraits along the riverbank under the old gum trees are the ones that stay with you.
