The trees lining the parkland, the wide open sand, the shallow water at the shoreline catching the last of the light and that warm golden glow that settles over this beach in the final hour of the day. The session moved from the dunes to the beach to the parkland naturally and each location brought something different out of the two of them.
The black and white of grandma throwing her little one into the air against the trees is pure joy and completely real. The close up of the two of them cheek to cheek in the dune grass is the one that earns a permanent place on the wall. And the reflection shot at the water’s edge with the whole Peregian sky stretching out behind them is quietly extraordinary.
